I would compare doing improv to swimming in the middle of big waves. It's charming and daring at the same time. It takes all your attention, and in doing so, you will be a much more childlike and happy person.
In the waves, you can't predict whether the wave will lift you up or you will fall under it. The same goes for improv - how the story goes, depends on you and your stage partner and many small fragments of thoughts and emotions, which all together make it one unique story.
Either way, it's exciting and enjoyable. Makes you want to try it again and again.

I started doing improv because I wanted to explore the more creative side of myself, something I was finding lacking in my daily job. So, after three years of studying and practicing improv techniques, I can say that they made an even more positive change in my life than I was expecting. This experience made me more spontaneous, accepting of myself and just a happier person in general.
The way Rahel teaches improv is special and focuses on the safety of the space and trust between participants. This highlights the therapeutic aspects of this practice, there is no stress on trying to do something you won’t be ready for yet. I recommend it for everybody, even if you don’t think of yourself as a creative person, improv can make a serious difference in your life!

The improv theater experience has given me a huge dose of skills that I use in everyday and professional life. It has also strengthened my understanding of myself as a person, a performer, and a team member. For me, the values of improv and the people who do it have been a much-needed vitamin for my mental health, without which I can hardly live. Rahel is inspiring, calm, and supportive both as a teacher and as a person. Her vision of improv theater is enriching and more than just a humorous interlude once a week.

When I started learning improv three years ago, I didn't really know what to expect. Now I can recommend it as a fun and educational form of entertainment! Attending Rahel's classes has helped improve my performance skills, taught me how to let go of control, react to the unexpected, and developed my courage onstage. This all happens through fun games and engaging lectures. I think that you don't have to come to improv with a big goal, but if you want to try something new and have a good time, then improv classes are for you!

I fell in love with improv over time; it wasn't love at first sight. In improv lessons I gained a lot of self-confidence (e.g. nothing scary happens when something goes wrong, I'm funny and so are others). I also learned cooperation (both in a team and with stage partners). Most importantly, the free atmosphere lets you unload your everyday worries and leave the class reborn, full of energy to tackle your assignments. And all this is thanks to Rahel! I highly recommend scheduling time in your calendar for an improv class, because it can change your life 😉 And of course only for the better!
